Summer Camp Registration is now OPEN. We offer day camps for the following age groups that have a different theme each week!

  • 4-6 years old
  • 6-9 years old
  • 9-12 years old

All camp themes are enhanced with a balance of arts & crafts, outdoor play, and swimming.

Weekly Adult Events Blog:

May 3           Terrarium Workshop – 7:00-9:00pm

Create your very own terrarium to keep! Join us for a comprehensive learning experience about the form and function of the terrariums as well as well as how to keep your plants alive.

May 10        Family Beach Safety & Adventure Workshop – 7:00-8:00pm

A day at the beach isn’t always a walk in the park. Learn about how to have a safe and successful day at the beach with the whole family. Topics will include: tips and tricks to supervising children at the beach, when and where to swim, and what to pack and when to pack it in.

May 17        Trivia Night – 7:00-9:00pm

Build your own team with family and friends and join us for a night filled of trivia questions on different topics!

May 24        Army Run Training Information Session 

Come and find your strength in community. This introductory running clinic will cover how to access all the beautiful trails around Accora Village and talk about our new running club and learn to run programs.

May 5 & 6   Standard First Aid with CPR-C & AED

Develop an in-depth understanding of first aid with the help of medical professionals and the
Canadian First Aid Manual. Learn about the medical and legal aspects of first aid and treating specific injuries, including spinal, heat or cold, bone and joint, burns, and other medical injuries.

May 21       Recreation Centre Open Holiday Hours – 10:00a.m.-6:00p.m.

                      Family Gym – 10:00a.m.-6:00p.m.

                      Open Swim – 12:00-6:00p.m.

May 3         Childminding – 6:00-8:30 p.m.

 

Need childcare to participate in fitness classes or events? We are happy to supervise your children between the ages of 4-12 while you try something new. Every Thursday evenings starting May 3rd.
