Accora Village Recreation Reservations

Updates effective September 9, 2021

To ensure the continued health and safety of our residents and employees, we have a limited capacity in our facilities, enhanced cleaning practices, physical distancing measures in place and advance reservations required for all programs and services.

Proof of Vaccination Required Starting September 22, 2021

In accordance with Province of Ontario requirements, proof of Covid-19 vaccination will be required to access the pool, fitness facilities and programs and services offered at the Accora Centre. Individuals who cannot receive the vaccine due to medical exemptions will be permitted entry with a doctor’s note. Children who are 11 years of age and younger and unable to be vaccinated will also be exempted from these requirements.

Bike Loans

Child, youth and adult size bikes available to borrow complimentary for 3 hours. Advance reservation required. Bikes will be sanitized prior to each booking.


Swimming Pool

  • Outdoor Pool is closed for the season
  • Indoor Pool open daily from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm
  • Reservations required for Adult Swims, Aquafit and Household Swims. 
  • Group Swim Lessons for children and adults begin September 11. Register now!

Reservations required and may be booked here up to one week in advance.


Fitness Classes, Weight Room and Cardio Room

  • A variety of fitness classes and drop-in sports are offered weekly.
  • Classes offered in the gymnasium to allow plenty of room for physical distancing.
  • Weight Room and Cardio Room open daily 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.
  • $10 per visit or included with platinum membership.

Advance reservation required and may be booked here up to one week in advance.


Child and Youth Programs

Parent and Toddler Drop-In

Our weekly Parent and Toddler Drop-in program is more than just a playgroup, the purpose of this weekly meet-up is for you to meet other parents in the community and gain some community resources. Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. starting September 14. Free for residents, registration required.

Code Club

Whether new to coding, familiar with it or experienced coder there is a spot for everyone in our Code Club. We have Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced clubs available for youth ages 8 to 14. Session starts Monday, September 13, $15.00 for a 6-week session.

Homework Club

Our Homework Club program provides a place for children to work on schoolwork, reading and other projects in a casual setting. Program runs from Monday, September 14 to Tuesday, October 19, 2021. $15.00 for a 6-week session. Ages 7 to 10 and 11 to 14.

Art and Craft

Evoke the love for creating and explore the fundamentals of making art. Program starts on Wednesday, September 15. $30 for 6-week session. Classes for ages 4 to 6 years, 7 to 9 years and 10 to 12 years.


Learn and have fun by completing a variety of science. Program starts Thursday, September 16. $30.00 for a 6-week session. For ages 4 to 7 years, 8 to 10 years and 11 to 13 years.

Jr NBA Basketball

Our Junior NBA Basketball program is for youth age 9 to 12. The program incorporates all aspects of Basketball with a focus on improving dribbling and shooting skills through use of fun drills. Mondays 4:30 to 5:30 starting September 27. $20 for 4 sessions. Register now!

Monthly Featured Programs


Enjoy Bingo your family and friends.  We will be hosting this event at the Accora Centre with a limited capacity of 15 people.  Due to COVID-19 there will be no drinks or snacks but there will still be prizes for the winner! Sunday, September 19, 2021.  Family BINGO starts at 3 p.m. and Seniors BINGO (55+) starts at 5 p.m.

Mental Health and Movement Seminar

Movement such as exercise and physical activity have been shown to have a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing, learn why and how you can apply these benefits to your life.  Facilitated by Algonquin College, Fitness and Health Promotion graduate Chelsea Barry.  Saturday, September 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. FreeAdvanced reservation is required.  


Important Notes Relating to Accora Centre Access

  • Stay home if you feel unwell or think you or someone you’ve been in close contact with may have Covid-19. To cancel your reservation please email [email protected].
  • A mask is required for entry into our facilities. Masks may be removed for duration of swim or workout.
  • Change facilities at the Accora Centre are available for a quick change. Showers remain closed. 
  • Bring a pre-filled water bottle as a water fountain will not be available.
  • During your visit to the Accora Centre, reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 by practicing physical distancing, washing your hands frequently, wearing a mask and following the directional signage and employee directions.
  • If you bring a minor with you, please ensure the minor(s) know and follow the COVID-19 Rules and Protocols.
