Accora Village in Ottawa offers a diverse range of camp activities that cater to children of all ages and interests. These camps are designed to provide a safe, supervised, and fun environment where kids can explore new interests, make friends, and create lasting memories.

Summer Camps at Accora Village

This summer, Accora Village is excited to present a series of themed weekly camps for children in Ottawa in collaboration with Winners Day Camp. From July to August 2024, children can participate in engaging activities that stimulate creativity, physical activity, and social interaction. Each week features a unique theme to keep the excitement fresh and engaging.

Recreational Activities and Programs

The 2024 summer camp lineup includes:

  • Week 1: July 2-5 – Proud to be a Canadian!
    Celebrate Canada with patriotic art projects, themed games, and songs about beavers, maple leaves, and Canada Geese.
  • Week 2: July 8-12 – Minecraft, Lego, and Toys, Oh My!
    Dive into the world of Minecraft and Lego with pixel art, Lego masterpieces, and classic games like Freeze Tag and Hot Potato.
  • Week 3: July 15-19 – Wild, Wild West!
    Experience the Old West with crafts like mini clay cacti and sheriff badges, and activities like Rodeo Roundup and Stampede.
  • Week 4: July 23-27 – Are We There Yet?
    Take a virtual trip around the world with STEM projects, global games, and clay models of famous landmarks.
  • Week 5: July 29-August 2 – Superhero Academy!
    Embrace your inner superhero with crafts, games, and activities that highlight kindness, friendship, and individual talents.
  • Week 6: August 6-9 – Cruisin Away
    Imagine a 4-day cruise with creative projects, tropical-themed crafts, and games like Beaches, Bridges, and Boats.
  • Week 7: August 12-16 – Going for Gold!
    Participate in mini-Olympics, create Olympic medals, and enjoy a variety of athletic challenges and team-building activities.
  • Week 8: August 19-23 – The Great Outdoors
    Celebrate nature with outdoor crafts, games like Jump the River and Busy Bees, and a treasure hunt.
  • Week 9: August 26-30 – Art Spectacular!
    Showcase artistic talents through various painting techniques, clay creations, and prepare for an end-of-summer performance.
