January Recreation at Accora Village

Cross-Country Ski

 

Learn to cross-country ski with the Kanata Nordic Ski Club. All required equipment and instructions will be provided free of charge. For ages 6+, however all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by someone 18+.

Dance Lessons

 

With Covid precautions front of mind our dance classes will be offered with a maximum group size of 4 and the option to attend virtually or in-person (dependant on restrictions). Participants have the option to switch between virtual and in-person participation based on their comfort and preference from week-to-week. These high energy classes teach rhythm, coordination, and balance through age-appropriate movements set to fun upbeat music.

Tuesdays, January 26 through to March 9.
$35 for 7, 30-minute classes and $52.50 for 7, 45-minute classes.
Ages 4 to 6; Ballet 4:30-5:00pm or Jazz and HipHop 5:15-5:45.
Ages 7 to 9; Jazz and Hip Hop 6:00-6:45pm.
Ages 10 to 12; Jazz and Hip Hop 6:00-6:45pm or Ballet 8:00-8:45 pm

Britannia Winter Trail

 

Accora Village is proud to sponsor the Britannia Winter Trail, which is a multi-use urban winter trail steps from Accora Village. The trail stretches 8 kms from Andrew Haydon Park to Britannia Beach. This trail presents a great opportunity for everyone to get out into the fresh air during the snowy months and enjoy their preferred winter activity. The trail is open for cross-country skiing, winter biking, snowshoeing, or walking. We also offer snowshoe rentals to those in need! Skating on Outdoor Rink

 

In the centre of Accora Village is a City of Ottawa park with an outdoor rink. The rink is operated by local community volunteers through a service agreement with the City of Ottawa. Accora Centre Closure

In accordance with public health guidelines, the Accora Centre is temporarily closed and all in-person programs and services have been suspended. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Accora Centre when restrictions are lifted!
