Whether you’re new to the area or a lifelong local, an Accora resident or an Ottawan, the Find Your Village Scavenger Hunt is your chance to learn more about the people, places and stories that have made the Accora Village rental community a favourite place to live for over 60 years!
Every Monday and Thursday at 9 a.m., we’ll share a new photo challenge on our Instagram page, Facebook page and our website, that will lead you to hidden gems and local landmarks around Accora Village (98 Woodridge Crescent). Complete tasks, snap photos, and submit your entries for a chance to win a $2,500 cash prize! Spread the word – and get bonus entries – by sharing your photo submissions on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #findyourvillage and tag us @accoravillage.
Gather your friends or go solo and follow the trail all the way to the final draw held Monday, July 14 at 12 p.m. when the ultimate scavenger hunter will be crowned. To be eligible to win, you must have successfully completed all six photo challenges, and registered on our website no later than Sunday, July 13 at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced on our Instagram and Facebook pages, on our website and contacted by email.

Contest Rules
Dates and Eligibility: There is no purchase necessary to participate or to win. The event is open to Accora Village residents and non-residents, 18 years of age or older. Participants must register to be eligible to win. Registration closes Sunday, July 13 at 11:59 p.m. Answers must be submitted through the dedicated submission link posted alongside each individual challenge on our Instagram, Facebook and website. Answers submitted any other way will not be counted.
Participants must correctly complete all six challenges and submit their answers by Sunday, July 13 at 11:59 p.m to be eligible to win.
Employees of Ferguslea Properties, as well as members of the same household of any Ferguslea Properties employee, may not participate.
Prizes: The final Grand Prize winner will be determined by a random draw and their name will be announced on Monday, July 14 at 12 p.m. (noon) on our Instagram page and Facebook pages and our website. The winner will also be notified by email.
By registering and participating in the Find Your Village Scavenger Hunt, you are granting us permission to share your name publicly if you are chosen as the winner.
There is one grand prize of $2,500 to be given to the winner in the form of a cheque and is non-transferable or exchangeable. Odds of winning are dependent on how many successful entries are received.
Accora Village (Ferguslea Properties) reserves the right to terminate or extend the contest at any time.

A. The Accora Centre and our leasing office is located at 98 Woodridge Crescent. Our community features 10 high-rise apartments and nearly 1000 townhomes and garden homes along Woodridge Crescent and Bayshore Drive.
Q. Where will the challenges take place?
A. They will take place throughout public spaces in the Accora Village community and in the surrounding neighbourhood.
Q. Can I join if I’m not an Accora Village resident?
A. Yes, the contest is open to everyone aged 18+.
Q. Can I compete by myself or form a team?
A. It’s your choice! If forming a team, choose your team lead and ensure that they register and submit answers with their email address.
Q. Can I register at any time?
A. Yes, register will remain open until Sunday, July 13 at 11:59 p.m.
Q. When can I submit my answer to each challenge?
A. Answers can be submitted via the challenge online form as soon as that particular challenge goes live and until Sunday, July 13 at 11:59 p.m. After that, the submission forms will be closed.
Q. I don’t have social media, can I still participate?
A. Yes, of course! Answers can also be submitted on our website page here.
Q. If I complete all challenges correctly but forget to register, am I still eligible?
A. Unfortunately, no. We encourage you to register before beginning the challenges to ensure your eligibility!
Q. If I don’t complete a challenge, am I still eligible?
A. Unfortunately, no. You must register and complete all six challenges to be eligible.
