Thursdays – Playground Gym Drop-in.
Toddlers and preschoolers come and enjoy some time in the gym with organized games and free play. 1:30-3:00 pm.

One-time Events
August 1 – Creative Sign Making Workshop
Handcraft a one-of-a-kind rustic sign that will add a touch of charm to your home. 7:00-9:00 pm.

August 5 – Civic Holiday
Rec Centre hours are 10 am-6 pm. Outdoor pool hours are 12:30-6:00 pm.
August 6
Registration opens for fall swim lessons.
August 16 – Summer Soiree
Join Jesse for an introductory Swing Dance lesson, and then stick around to practice what you have been learning at our Summer Soiree. Refreshments will be served. 6:30-8:30 pm.
Registration required. Free.
August 29 – Bingo
Fun, relaxing, and social. Prizes and refreshments available. 7-9 pm.
Registration required. Free. 18+.
Summer Highlight
August 26th-30th at Accora Village – Bronze Star Summer Camp
This camp will offer a mix of lifesaving and leadership activities. Recommended for children who have completed at least Swim Kids 8. Successful candidates will receive the Lifesaving Society Bronze Star and Basic First Aid certifications. Ages 8-12.
