BIKING
There is an incredible network of green pathways in our community and neighbourhood, and a bike is the perfect way to enjoy them. Accora Village is the perfect starting point for many trails and pathways.
The Capital City Pathway provides bike path access to some of the best scenery in Ottawa and Gatineau.
Resident of Accora Village also enjoy cycling within Andrew Haydon Park and along the Moodie Drive Multi-Use Trail which connect to the Trans Canada Trail / Ottawa River Pathway. The 4.2 km trail provides cyclists with breathtaking views of the Ottawa River, Gatineau and access to some of the city’s best beaches.
Bicycle Loan
Explore the community by bike, (don’t worry if you don’t have one). Adult, youth, and child bikes are available for 3 hours at no charge or $20 per bike for the full day. Available from May long weekend until thanksgiving. To reserve your bike(s), visit the Accora Centre.
