Trails
Britannia Winter Trail – Steps from Accora Village, this multi-use urban winter trail welcomes all forms of winter activity, including cross-country skiing, winter biking, snow shoeing, or walking and gets everyone out into the fresh air during the snowy months.
Wesley Clover Park Trails – Skiers can enjoy a growing network of over 18km of ski trails for classic and skate-skiing at Wesley Clover Parks. Ski day passes and season passes available learn more here.
SNOWSHOEING
Snowshoeing is an invigorating way to discover your community in winter and we have an amazing variety of trails to choose from. All you need are snowshoes and you’re off!
Snowshoe Loans
Borrow a set of snowshoes and explore the beauty of nature. Available in both adult and children’s’ sizes. Reserve your snowshoes online, and then stop by the Accora Centre to pick them up. Available from December through March. Complimentary for 3 hours or $20 for a weekend rental. Reserve your snowshoes at the Accora Centre.
SKATING
Lace up your skates this winter and enjoy an afternoon on the Accora Village rink located right in the middle of our community or travel downtown for a skate on the famous Rideau Canal.
Skate Loans
The Accora Centre has limited skate sizes available to loan for residents for ages 8+. Available from December through March. Complimentary for 3 hours or $20 for a weekend rental. Reserve your skates at the Accora Centre.
