At 18.25 metres long and 1.37 metres (4.5 feet) deep including swimming lanes, our indoor saltwater pool provides residents with ample space to swim. Residents can relax in the beach area or saltwater hot tub with hydrotherapy jets. Accora Village kids will gravitate to the mushroom fountain sprinkler. The indoor pool and hot tub are located inside our Recreation Centre.
Main Pool: 28 – 30 degrees Celsius (82.4- 86 degrees Fahrenheit)
Hot Tub: 38– 40 degrees Celsius (100-104 Fahrenheit)
Our heated outdoor pool is 15 metres long and 3 metres (10 feet) deep and features a small wading pool for young children. Sit at one of the nearby picnic tables or lounge chairs and take in the warm summer vibe. The outdoor pool is located behind Deschene Court at 220 Woodridge Crescent and is open weekends in June and 7-days a week in July and August.
WATER ACTIVITIES & SWIMMING LESSONS
We offer a wide range of water-based activities for adults and families including recreational swims and aquatic fitness classes. For those who want to improve their swimming skills, we offer the Red Cross Swim Program. All swim times are currently available by reservation only.
Reserved swims are available for all Accora Village residents.

Red Cross Swim Preschool:
Red Cross Swim Preschool is an eight-level, stand-alone program for four-month to six-year-old children. Swimmers participate in the level that is best suited to them, based on their age and ability.

Red Cross Swim Kids:
Red Cross Swim Kids is a 10-level stand-alone program for five to twelve-year-old children. Children learn to swim and become water-safe in a fun environment that promotes fitness and achieving their personal best.

Adult Swimming Lessons:
A great environment for those over 16 years of age who want to learn to swim or simply want to improve their swimming skills. Our Red Cross certified instructors tailor lessons for each participant, based on skill, goals and comfort in the water.
- Beginner & Intermediate (16+ years)
A great option for those who want to learn how to swim in a 1-on-1 environment with one of our certified Red Cross swim instructors. From Sea Otter to Adult Intermediate, all levels are available in a private lesson format. Semi-private lessons are also available for family and friend groups.

Advanced Swimming Lessons:
This is a great option for those looking to polish their swimming techniques, advance their water skills or learn how to perform in-water rescues.

Our coach-led fitness classes will help you improve your fitness level in and out of the water. Participation is always fun and of course we always encourage participants to go at their own pace.
